Two videos i think everyone should watch.
Part two in particular to the "Martingale system" for anyone
who is dumb enough to use it!!!
These videos are very informative.
Video 2, 11.45 into the video shows why the martingale is a mug's system

The videos aren't for everyone, just people who, as you say, are dumb enough to use the Martingale.

There are some tricks ive learned over the years to make it a bit more viable but generally there is no memory from one game or race to another so the next game has exactly the same chances as the one before. Odds aside.

That simulator is failing to show the true odds of winning with a martingale system bc it doesn't take in consideration that you're betting on a specific sequence that has a total different strike rate

I haven't watched the videos but it makes sense that the observed frequency of a series depends on the expected value of an event in that series so the martingale only plays an artistic role. :|

Hope OP doesn't mind but I've added some videos to that first post.

Its always easy to spot when someone really tries to push one of these systems by the sudden influx of people asking about using implementing a loss recovery.

Lads I have a small confession to make

I recently bought a book that turned out to be a bit of a scam, because would you believe it, all the pages were blank!!

So I did what any other sensible person would do, I tried to recover this loss by publishing my own book, and would you believe it, I've not managed to sell a single copy!

I've been humbled, I don't even know how to feel anymore! :x

Would have been better if it told you to keep backing Liverpool at odds on all season

Indeed!

Therefore I have no choice but to conclude that loss recovery systems probably don't work.

And thanks for the reminder that Liverpool play this evening, I will make sure not to watch 👍

There was an amusing Martingale video link in an edition of the laybackandgetrich.com betting guide but it was removed the last time I looked. It was a real-life Martingaler on a roulette table showing how it should be done. He got the final winner but maximum stake restrictions resulted in a loss. The best part of the video was his exclamation when he lost half his bank. :D

Jos Buttler lost his 8th coin toss in a row this week. :D
