Would a bet at these levels, placed so early on, manage to survive when runners are withdrawn and new odds calculated by BF?

If you try the back at fixed odds of 990 does it work OK?
Yes, works just the same using fixed odds 990

I let my lays build up overnight and then at 12pm I tell Guardian to back net stakes at 990. Sometimes I only get £1 lay matched overnight. Then at 12.01pm I 'Take SP' all bets. But Guardian just isn't interested in placing the £1 backs at all (for me). Why was it a 49p back size against a 50p lay? You're not inputting delayed offset bets (with greening?) against the lays, are you? I'm not doing that.

Silly question - obviously not. (But I don't know why it was 49p)

I manually placed a 0.50p lay bet shortly before the back bet rule was armed to trigger
I'm not using any offsetting, in the 2nd image, the lay was for 50p again but the net stake was 49p because i'd previously greened up after the first test for a -1p loss

Have you double checked all the conditions and/or timings of your back bet rule?

AArgh!! I've spotted it - my rule says " lays>(backs+£1) "

It would need to be lays>(backs+99p)

What a clown - sorry all!
