A funny little anecdote in this month's feature of Traders mag:

A trader meets an experienced mentor and asks him how he can learn to trade successfully in the fastest possible way:
Trader: unfortunately, I’ve only got three days to learn from you, but I‘m
looking forward to it. how long will it take approximately?
Mentor:three weeks.
Trader: I‘ve only got three days, not three weeks. how long will it take?
Mentor:three months.
Trader: you’re making me angry. I know that you can teach me to trade
successfully, so please tell me how long it will take.
Mentor:three years.
Trader:we‘re talking at cross purposes. I’ll go and find another mentor.
Mentor: It’ll take you your entire to life to trade successfully.
