Things must be serious for the Bank of England to use a phrase like 'derail the recovery'!

I'm not sure if he was being completely frank, though, when he said 'there remain significant challenges for the year ahead'. I wonder whether this was a coded way of saying 'Make sure your seat belt is fastened, because we're in for a rocky ride!'
