which one is Buffet?!

it's fine for him to want the debt ceiling to be raised every year - his children and grandchildren won't be the ones having to pay it off!

At Least Now It's Obvious Who's In Charge

Stocks and bonds haven’t moved because nobody cares what’s happening in the US government anymore. And that’s because every serious investor understands that the US government long since abdicated any economic power to the banking sector.

I'm not sure thats true about nobody caring. I think the cliff is like a (strange) football match that is very close to sp right up untill the 90th minute, at which point the odds start to decay fast as it starts to become far more likely one team will win. So far everyone is expecting the limit to be lifted, but that will start to change as we get very close to the deadline.
