Trading is often about how to take the appropriate risk without exposing yourself to very human flaws.

Entrepreneur Personality (ESTP, -A/-T)

Which probably reflects my somewhat chequered work history.

Not sure how true that is though, as it describes me as being arrogant, judgemental, and loathing anyone who prefers stability and safety over self-determination

I think it's interesting as I'm expecting a few profiles to be common on here. But for different reasons. I think we have some deep thinkers but also some entrepreneur styles as well. I'd be interested in getting as many as possible just for our own self-reflection.

I found this site after I found a profile I did in the early 90's. It's amazing how much I've changed, but I knew that anyway.

Yes, but I've been self-employed for nearly 9 years now Peter, yet our personalities couldn't be more diverse

It just proves that anybody can succeed at this game, especially if you recognise your own weaknesses and find a way to keep a lid on them when trading markets

I thought you would be more extroverted but it looks like we are at opposing ends of the scale

Yes, but this job has changed me mate - 10 years ago, I would have been considerably more extroverted. However, a decade of sitting at home on my own, with no family life to keep me more rounded and grounded, has led to me becoming more withdrawn and isolated from normal life.

CAMPAIGNER (ENFP-T)

In some aspects, it wasn't a result I expected! Interesting though.
