Here's how you can overcome cognitive biases:

Trading is often about how to take the appropriate risk without exposing yourself to very human flaws.

I haven't done any 'proper' trading for almost 3 months, it's 100% 247 development at the moment still.
Do you mean you aren't actually trading the Betfair markets? If so, it seems bizarre to me how much 'advice' you post on the forum if you aren't actually a successful active trader. Or have I misunderstood what you meant? :?
I've been trading on and off since 2000, plotting and gambling since '82
I've been trading fulltime for about 2 years.
I've become bored with my approach (staring at the ladder all day).
I've taken a step away to learning a new language (C#, after nearly 40yrs of using Basic) and I'm writing my own quant trading system.
That's in beta test at the moment with a full implementation due in December.
I wear size 9 shoes and 30w/32l jeans

Did I miss anything ? ;)

 I didn't mention they're getting a bit snug and drag on the floor. Given a choice I'd be in my comfy XL overalls all day :)
...well that's the gamble anyway. Sat here watching little muddy Irishmen isn't how want to spend my best years, there's plenty of time for that when I'm dribbling down my cardigan waiting for the nurse to bring me my soup.
