Thought it might be useful to post up some tips and tricks which can be used with guardians advanced automation which users may find useful when creating bots.

Some you may already know, some you may never of thought possible and others might just show you a way to do something your already doing but in a much easier way.

As ill be adding to these over time to make it easier and keep them all together so users viewing them in future don’t have to skip through any chat or questions in between them the thread will be kept locked – but if anyone does have questions or wants to discuss anything relating to them feel free to post to another thread and I’ll answer there.

How to set a rule to trigger for more than 24 hours.

This can be done by using the ‘Fixed time and date’ with the following triggers;

Armed at 00:00:01
Till 23:59:59

What this means is except for 2 seconds at midnight each day the rule is armed and able to trigger around the clock. This is useful if trading on Soccer matches several days before K.O or on even longer term markets like the recent Presidential election markets.

Combined with the signal conditions you could set rules up to check the market every few days and if you have no unmatched bets then place another bet.

Let’s assume you want to drip back bets into the market every 2 days but only if the previous bet has already been matched. Using the arm times above you could create a rule type to set a signal say every 2 hours, then on your back-bets rule include an unmatched bets condition is equal to 0 and signal set condition is equal to 24.

Now you have a rule that will drip new bets into the market every 48hrs for as long as you want.

Quickly Duplicate Rules for Multiple Selections

Rather than using the ‘Green Plus’ icon to keep creating new rules types from scratch especially if adding the same rule to more than one selection instead use the icon of ‘Two Arrows’ to copy an existing rule type in its entirety - this includes the arm times, triggers, staking, all conditions and signals etc making it a much easier and quicker to then just make the minor changes needed.

In the Image below it shows a rule with 8 conditions has been made for the favourite. To run it on another selection (ie the 2nd fav) by copying this rule as it is it then only requires the ‘Applies to’ section to be changed.
