Keep Bets

Hi
My automation bot sudenly wont keep bets in running. I have the refresh set to 20 miliseconds , and have tried restrict refresh un ticked and ticked I've also tried auto- switch market both on and off, it was working great and suddenly stopped it now cancels the bet at the off ??

any ideas bloody shame as it was going great

Is it fine to make alterations to the shared automation files and the videos Peter puts up. I copied Peter's Dob example . but then put my own conditions in with your kind help Dallas . Suddenly the bot doesn't keep the bet in play, which makes it a different story - its now a backing bot.

Dallas I did make slight adjustments ie number of ticks and small % adjusment

I followed the refresh restrict advice and refresh settings

Is it a bug? shall I start again ?

Impossible to say without seeing the actual rules file but i would start by making sure you have the 'keep bets' rule triggers and arm times set correctly and with a wide enough window

Just let my son have a look, he's a coder for Apple, he thinks he sussed it , he's clever like you Dallas. I'm now waiting for it to select a race that falls into my conditions.

Ok this was the problem i encountered on my dobbing automation. Its very fussy but when it did select a horse, at the off it wouldn't keep the bet.

I had been experimenting with different duration's before the off that I had set in my conditions for example 300 seconds 500 seconds etc

these settings had differed from the restrict refresh rate in advance settings on automation. So after help from Dallas and reading some re fresh notes , I adjusted the settings a lot closer to the times I finally like, BOOM it worked and has so far

Basically if you make tiny adjustments as you go along on automation as i do , sure most do , check things like this .

I also checked all trigger settings and the normal refresh rate which runs great on 20 ms

not trying to be a tipster, I'm far from it
but showing anyone interested in this type of automation what I'm looking for, my system throws some good ones up.

It doesn't matter when using automation, unless using the 'market switch' option in guardian.
Its just for markets which you have loaded on your main trading screen option
