I am trying to set up an automated rule that allows me to lay all the horses in a race that:
a. fall into a specific price range.
and also allows me to:
b. capture all selections that meet that criteria from 15 sec's before the scheduled start time until the race goes in-play. (My preference would be to get 15 secs pre in-play but, given the wild variance of actual race starts compared to their advertised times I would think this impossible to achieve.
The following is an overview of how I have constructed the rule:
General Tab:
Rule Type - Place a lay bet
Timings - 15 sec before start time/1 sec after start time
Selections - Any
Parameters Tab:
Place at - Best Market price
Stake - Fixed Amount $1
Conditions Tab:
1. Not IP
2. Lay >desired amount
3. Lay < less than desired amount
Problems encountered:
a. Only 1 horse gets layed
b. That horse is, without fail, the favourite which is miles outside the pricing parameters desired (as nominated).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Laying Horses Within A Specific Price Range
If your parameters are using 2 x fixed odds conditions and the last traded price then it should only trigger on those that fall within that range (starting with the lowest runner in order of favouritism)
So all you need to add is a
'Number of place bet triggers condition'
on selection is
equal to 0
then ensure the rule is armed to trigger several times with a 1 sec rearm and that should do it
