Hi Guys,

What is the best way to automatically green up 5 seconds after a manually placed bet has been matched. Is this done via automation or via guardian?

Below is what should ideally happen:

1. Back bet is manually placed
2. Back bet is matched (fill or kill)
3. Wait 5 seconds
4. Automatically green up (using optimized green up)

The green up should happen only after a bet has been matched.

If you could help out or point me in the right direction that would be great!

Thanks ,

Colin

Are you just doing this once per market/selection
Or rerunning it over and over ie, once greened up starting the process again and repeating several times on a market?

Thanks for the reply Dallas, that is correct, it will need to be rerun over and over. After greening up, the process will start over again from step 1 and it will need to be repeated several times during the match

I've just noticed your OP also said the back bet was to be placed manually, do you then just mean Guardian/Automation is to handle the greening up part (5 secs after being matched)?
If so the best route would be to create a servant to handle the greening

Thank you, the servant worked great for auto greening after 5 seconds!

However, when greening up during in-play where odds move very erratically i.e. tennis and cricket, there are times when the odds slip up or down too quickly for greening to occur or the selection only gets partially greened up (normally when large stakes are used) which results in a selection not greening up at all. What would you recommend to get around this?

Also, is it possible to green up using the favorite's or a lower priced selection. There have times where when greening up, a lay bet was placed on a selection where the odds were greater than 10 (there wasn't enough money in the account to cover the high liability).

You can enable optimized greening for two runner markets which ensures you always get the best price

When greening in-play and you have the in-play delay your only option is to set the green up rule to trigger multiple times, I usually use at least 3 triggers and ensure the re-arm time is a few seconds longer than the delay on the market your trading

Thanks Dallas, the info above is very useful. Especially setting the rearm time to greater than the set delay :) One last thing, does Betangel fill or kill unmatched greening up bets or does it know to differentiate normal bets from greening up ones?

No, effectively a greening up bet is a 'normal' bet just calculated by the software to spread out any P/L
The fill/kill option can't be used with a 'greening up' bet but within your main settings you can instruct the software to cancel unmatched bets including the previous green up order
