I have been trying for an hour to do this but can't seem to.
How can I automate a lay bet to be placed on the favourite and then for that lay price where the bet was placed to be stored as a price for me to trigger another rule from it?
It's the storing of that price I can't seem to do.

On the Stored Value tab of your lay rule use
Store a Value
(give it a name of your choice)
For Selection
'the lay price of the selection'
The following footie example stores the value of the lay price when it triggers if you want to download an actual file to see it set up and used as a condition in another rule
