Hey everyone,

I am having a problem whereby I am placing a speculative lay bet using guardian with greenup of plus 2 ticks and stop loss of 3ticks. My problem is that before the laybet has been matched the greenup bet goes into the market at the two tick offset. In some cases the market is flying off, taking the back bets and then cashing out for a 3tick loss.

I want to make the bot only submit the greenup bet if and when the lay bets get matched.

Has anyone encountered this problem and has a solution?

Would be grateful for any help

Have you enabled fill/kill to prevent to offset being placed until the opening bet is filled?

Many thanks, I thought the fill or kill was to do with only the lay bet being placed, I now understand. Much appreciated.

I am wanting the Bot to identify if a selection is shortening or drifting, i have come up with a mediocre way of doing this by saying if selection traded at 3.6 10 seconds ago back at 3.9 for example.

When saying the 10 seconds ago, does this mean bang on 10 seconds ago, or within the last 10 seconds?

Also is there an easier way of getting the bot to recognise if a price is shortening or lengthening

literally after scanning the great usermanual again, i have found that historical fixed odds can do this, which I am using for that very rule mentioned above

Linked with the above, I can't seem to understand what is happening in the following situation (which occurred when I was in practice mode).

I have set up an automation to place a back bet with an “Offset bet with greening and stop” action. Offset is 10 ticks, Stop is triggered at 15, place at 12 ticks and I have the fill/kill ticked as above.
The original bet was based upon a £20 liability back bet:
03/06/2020 12:01:26: [G_Auto] : £ 0.58 Back bet placed on 3. Bonza Guy at 36. Entirely unmatched when it initially reached the market. Ref: 10981
03/06/2020 12:02:16: Stop triggered. Modify bet 10981 from 0.58 @ 36 to 1.5 @ 15.5 New Ref: 10989 and Additional £ 0.92 bet placed as Ref: 10988
03/06/2020 12:02:16: Stop triggered. Modify bet 10988 from 0.92 @ 36 to 0.92 @ 15.5 New Ref: 10990

Yet the user guide says:
Offset bet with greening and Stop - As 'Offset bet and stop' but Bet Angel adjusts the stake of the offset bet so that the profit from the trade is spread across all selections in the market. Note: the reduction of the stake of the offset bet will result in the stake used for the stop loss being reduced also

So, I would have expected that, in this scenario, the amount would have been £0.31 (ie the green up amount at 10 ticks above the 36 price). Instead it seems to have stopped a bet using an amount of 1.50 and then added an additional 92p. Can you explain the maths here as I would have expected it to use the 58p from the initial bet at the stop price.

Thanks
