Hi,

I'm looking for some advice on buying a touchscreen monitor?

I'm currently running Windows 7 and will be using it with Bet Angel/Excel.

Naturally responsiveness and accuracy are paramount.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Cheers

Did you see this video?

Should give you an idea of how responsive it would be. I guess some of it depends somewhat on your trading style.

Thanks Peter, it was that video which sparked my interest.

I would use it for in running, so responsiveness would need to be highly accurate.

Have you encountered any issues with touches not registering?

Thanks

The problem you have in-running is the in-play delay, you are sometimes not sure if you clicked or not so you click again and get a double order.

I think a bigger more sensitive screen is needed, but that will cost a few quid.

Maybe you could use the new Ipad pro? (Expensive though to achieve what you are trying to do)
Surely for in running, a mouse would be much quicker?

I'm prone to the odd double order using the mouse.

My mouse accuracy is not what I would like it to he. After hitting 'back all' a few times I resorted to confining my mouse movements with ahk.

I'm keen to trial touch and see how it performs.

I'll give the iPad a look.

Thanks
