Have been reading the betfair/hack thread.
So naturally my paranoia has kicked up a gear.
I already use a password manager, though not the one mentioned in the thread..
Went to the Yubikey site, but came away more than a little confused.
could some kind soul give me the layman's answer to what I am looking for.
Hardware -2 ultra books
need to protect login.
Browsing - PayPal and any other account type sites that I use, that offer secondary verification.
How many key or keys would I require for this kind of use and once I have used the necessary verification, can the yubikey be removed or does it continuously have to occupy the slot.
Mobile phone verification often not possible (screened area)
grateful for any assistance

I'm not familiar at all with the yubikey process you mention so I can't really answer that one. Have you thought of asking them?

For your Betfair and Bet Angel (for Betfair) login we recommend using the Google 2-Step authenticaion process.

Resolved.
Got a non tech response from them, on my 2nd attempt.
Secondary phone verification is a great idea, but I often can not use this.
