Ok,
here is another one.
Just for the fun of it!
The idea came from the video on BetAngel tv regarding scalping the favorite!
Inspiring, Thank you!

So..
i took it and added some more to it.
At first it was scalping like crazy with no restrictions or criteria on all of the price range.
The result, around 50-50... not good.
I noticed that the money prefers to creep around the crossover points of the scale..especially on the last minutes.

This automation
- is scalping only around the crossover points (Lay bet, offset with greening and trailing stop (configurable))
- Greens up PRE play if you are RED over -3 or so.
- Greens up IN play (if any bets are kept for inplay)
- Greens up IN play, if you are RED over -2,5 or so.)

The thing is to place bet if the LAY side has greater % than the BACK side, on specific time range and on selected spots (crossovers) around the ladder.

Fully customizable ( i looove it)
Worked much better than blind scalping.
AS ALWAYS,
USE in PRACTICE at first.

"Wise use it you shall"
:p

You need to save it somewhere on your hard drive then open it from within the automation tool in Bet Angel.

Slight typo in .baf file
3rd rule Back scalp 1st (odds 2.88 up to 3.3)
3rd condition Back price of selection in sorted price

Back price is less than 2.1 NOT 8

Quick question Why £4.5 stakes? Any reason?

Hope this helps.

Typo to the typo post

Should read

3rd rule Back scalp 1st (odds 1.96 up to 2.1)

Doh!

Hello,
i noticed today the typo. It has been corrected on the V2 attachment.
Changes:
- a bit tighter on the odds.
- a bit tighter on the time before start
- changed the stake amount to use liability of 18
- number of unmatched condition is 10.
- changed a bit the green up rule.

This rule in total is picky.
It will not activate on all race cards during the day.
USE IT IN PRACTICE MODE PLEASE.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
PLEASE CHECK ON THE CONDITIONS THAT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 1st AND 2nd IS 10 ticks.
It should be 10 so as to face the less surprises possible...

- The stake amount used is customizable.
I had used on thee 1st one a fixed amount.
On the 2nd version i used stake by liability.
10 unmatched stakes are allowed * 14 liability on each = 140 on your currency.

- The .baf file is on the correct format. You just need to copy paste it on the Automation directory on your Bet angel directory.
It should appear on you automation list.
If not restart Betangel.

Thanks, enjoy testing things like this.

But i am fairly new to this unfortunately, can anybody point me in the direction of a guide on how to use .baf files?

Alternatively explain it for me?

Thanks

Want to know why .baf is not firing? Tried to put together a quick Spreadsheet to help view the conditions and if they are met.

Hope this helps.

Hello,
It will not fire on all races and on all odds.
It fires under certain conditions (odds range, odds difference between 1st and 2nd runner, volume of the market and for a certain time limit..)
I hope it helps...
Nice sheet by the way.
I am a bit behind on excel... Do you connect it like normal from inside Guardian?

a)Try to import it from Guardian automation tab.
b)Try to copy paste it on the Automation folder on the BetAngel directory.
Then import it as above.

It should work fine.
Try also the vids on the BetAngel channel on Youtube.
They help a lot!
