It's the futility of it. I have a file that made around £30k last year, but what is it actually worth? A lot more than that. Say it keeps that up for 10 years, that's £300k of future value. Which would then be discounted back to today's rates.

If you were to sell that on Ebay for say as low as £1,000, its highly likely that the buyer would want their money back once they understood how it worked, claiming it too simple ( I expect)
I have a very SIMPLE file that does very well. If I sold it, I expect they would want their money back too despite it making a good profit over time.

To the opening poster: You probably feel a little hard done to, its just that we see a lot if these over the years.
The honest truth is that there is some real gems posted on the forum. I have two versions of a file created by Dallas a month or so ago, combined they have made more that £1K over the ;ast month.
Worthwhile investigating and testing for yourself.

Peter

I would pay you 50% of my net profit after commission signed by contract with a solicitor as witness DM if of interest.

You're now asking someone to give you a bot for free which they've spent countless hours creating and perfecting and to split the profits they are currently making in half
Then as a thank you for this, your offer is to then give them 50% of those lost profits back?

I probably wouldn't waste time checking your inbox to often

Seriously, all I would do is give the BOT to one of my children, they run it completely independently of me and 100% of the profit goes to them
There is nothing in the Betfair T&C's to say you can't write a bot for someone.

Would anyone be willing to sell profitable bet angel files I will purchase them provided they give a good profit do message me.
Guess a lot depends on how much you're willing to pay ,I have a dog one that picks up around £50K a year, year in year out, and no reason why it should stop. What sort of price would you pay?

With a contract like that it seems I'd be the one paying especially as the dogs aren't really scaleable.

Yep, when I went to the pub with my son to watch a game recently, he said "Can I borrow £20 so I can buy you a drink" :?
Similar situation I think

I'll steer you in the right direction (for free), you will need to do a little work/testing, but it'll be worthwhile. ;)

Go to Page 1 of each title and download each of Dallas's automated files. You will begin to see a pattern/trend and then...away you go...

You might even spot some other things that work well, if so, post them up and we'll take a look.

The big irony here, is that those people who are top of their field (trading, analysis, coding etc any field), generally, are pretty open, & will offer incredible advice, insights & sweat - for nothing. But what they look for is tenacity & trust - which unfortunately this thread permanently violates

And then one day someone scores in 7.69 seconds and spoils it, unless you have the nerve to wait for the 90th min :)

A bit like a franchisor asking 7-11 to let them have the shop and the stock and then only sharing the profits 50/50.

A better suggestion would be to use the franchise business model. 2 examples.

ahh well, i presume we're done here!!

lots of interesting takeaways:

1. a social *sect* does not take kindly to (seeming) gold-diggers marching in and ignoring/refusing the shovel
2. there exists a genuine naivety when thinking about what's possible, without examining what you bring to the table
3. low effort brings hard critique

TBH, i had a bundle more thoughts on this but couldn't express them with any articulation. To cut to the chase, I feel sorry for the OP's world view in the accesibility of the memebers of this forum, in terms of both their willingness to give up their hard won edges, but more importantly, the fact that the OP feels beyond reproach in presenting such blindsighted offerings. I won't say i laughed out loud when he/she offered 50% split on a winnning rule (after legal agreement mind you)!

In fairness, my better half (when briefly mentioning this) pointed to the fact that we are not all always in command of our mental faculties and therefore i should be ashamed of any *bashing* on here. I actually agree and have concluded that i may have been commenting on a journey of which i have no full understanding. If this is the case, then I do feel enormous sympathy (for the OP) for all the comments that have been lavished on this.. (rightly or wrongly) and offer unreserved apology.

anyway -OP, pull yourself up and calmly review your conduct - even if only to reflect on the *whys* for some of the negative comments.
