"In this example we are storing the VWAP in a history list using a Servant and are using that history to display a purple region on the chart and show the current VWAP as a purple marker on the Ladder across five columns."

What a great improvement!!

Could you point me to an instruction(s) to show how to do this please?
Here you go

That's TRaffic Light - I was hoping for the Purple shading on 5 x columns
Sorry about that, posted the wrong link, try this one

Thanks Dallas - imported and works perfectly. I wonder if I could use the VWAP indicator bar on my own ladder settings?

Yes, all you need to do is go onto the 'Markers' tab and copy whats on mine to the 'Markers' tab of your exsisting ladder settings, then go on the 'Chart' tab and select the advanced chart you've just downloaded as your chart style

I've only had the time over the past few days to really get into the nuts and bolts of the new release and I have to say its pretty damn epic!

Well done to everyone involved 👏

Hi,

I've been testing the SV History Lists and exporting to csv.

It does not seem to be exporting at the faster refresh rates (I've tried 200ms and streaming down to 20ms). Is that due to the speed of exporting the data to csv? If so would it be possible to tweak the Export All Stored Values condition so it exports all SVs once the market is closed?

Thanks

Refresh speed shouldn't matter, but check you haven't got the file locked open in excel or something as that'd block the writing to it.

No, it only outputs a snapshot of the current values at the time of executing the rule.

Hi,

Here's an example using Dallas's HL Price Data File with an Export All Stored Values Rule added. Refresh rate is set to 200ms and the Export rule is set to fire every refresh and unlimited times.

Sometimes it gets to 4 refreshes per second but mostly it is less than that. The file is not being used by anything/one else and CPU and memory usage is well under 50%.

Note: I have saved as an .xlsx as csvs don't seem to cope with formatting time to milliseconds.

Thanks

How many markets have you got loaded into Guardian? The 200ms is the time it spends on each market in turn as it cycles round the markets in Guardian. If you 'use exchange streaming' you'll be able to refresh more quickly than 200ms.

It downloaded and installed fine here. Maybe reboot and try again in case Windows has got in a mess.
If more people see the problem we'll rebuild it again.
