I don't like how individual matched bets are not being shown, they're all just lumped together as 1 matched bet on the same price.
This is a particular problem when Guardian is displaying a bet has been matched, but if it's part matched the 'matched bets' total doesn't alter when I get more bets matched.
Is this just a glitch Peter?
Or is this how the new system is set up by Betfair?
New Bet Angel Professional Beta 1.37 - API NG
Just to clarify... it's the incorrect 'Market Closed' indicator that is the current betfair bug that they will need to solve, but that we have improved with 1.37.5Euler wrote:This is confirmed as a Betfair issue.
The fact that matched bets clear on market settlement is just the behaviour of the current API. We will look to see if we can freeze the bet information before settlement, but have to be very careful that we don't introduce a new issue such as not updating the market when a post-race reduction factor is applied.
OK thanksBet Angel wrote:It's the new API. You can't download the fragments of how the bet has been matched, you just get the total matched per bet reference.
That's a bit disappointing for those of us who have a number of trades spread across a handful of markets - it's nice to see on Guardian when additional bets are being matched
If that's the new API, then we'll just have to get used to it and work with it
I'm finding inaccurate data in the ladder boxes whilst using 1.37.5 but only in some markets.
the net stakes box total is incorrect
the trading column data is incorrect
the one touch green up button is wrong
very frustrating as I now need to have a betangel on one screen on one side and betfair on the other. I cannot rely on the betangel data as it is incorrect and corrupt so I'm having to rely on the data from the betfair screen - most annoying. Is this some sort of API failure?

Just to confirm the data is somehow corrupt, I have a 2nd identical computer and with the same market on each computer, the info is different on each - all settings are identical and it is the same market - both are incorrect and inaccurate
I should add that it is only one specific market that is like this, not several.

Yes its only one market that's affected:

This market shows different corrupt and incorrect data to the betfair screen. When loaded on two identical computers at the same time, it also shows different corrupt and incorrect data,

an example of this is the Sports Personality of The Year market http://sports.betfair.com/Index.do?mi=1 ... origin=MRL
The in-play trader shows the LTP was 1.3 on Rory McIlroy but BetFair correctly shows the LTP was in fact 1.54 - it has not been matched at 1.3 in the past week.

An irritating change in the new API.burtbrown wrote:Would halting updates to guardian/spreadsheets when a markets status is Suspended work here?
Personally, I disconnect the spreadsheet until I get time to save the spreadsheet data.
I'm assuming that market has been partially settled as people have been eliminated. There's a known bug with the betfair API regarding the Profit and Loss calculation for markets of that type, they currently have the fix planned in for 24th February 2015!Tuco wrote:Good morning Euler

Could you try using the Bet Angel option to calculate Profit and Loss locally and let us know if that sorts things out. You switch on that option in the Bet Angel Settings screen -> Communications page.
BTW, betfair also have a known issue regarding intermittent Last Traded Price changes following a market suspension (and currently don't have a scheduled fix date for that), but that sounds slightly different to the mispriced LTP in the Sports Personality of the Year market. However there's every chance the problems are related and it's just bad data originating from the API. I've just checked the market now at 10:36GMT and it is correctly showing the LTP as 1.54 for Rory Mcllroy, so if you see this post in the next few mins, I'd be interested to know if you still see the incorrect value.
