Society is currently where?
MSM knows it sells, Politicians using it as leverage, far left & right groups build their base upon it & now the education system wants to teach about it.

What a mess.

Amazing. In my own time, I don't think any other candidate has had such large sections of the media outright campaigning against them (it's way more than "reporting" the news), together with the so called majority of "elite" opinion. And yet Trump remains well and truly in contention.

Can't wait for the debates. Hoping for moments of pure entertainment like this (admittedly from a VP debate) - and so much waffle in the answer, which is what got him in to trouble in the first place - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMaEC-C4Y20

And this one from Billy Jefferson - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ffbFvKlWqE

Will there be a debate moment where Trump wipes the floor with Biden? or can Biden muster something he is yet to show?

The media have tried and failed in the US, UK and Aus for the last decade and failed every time, it almost makes me think it's some reverse psychology as it's unbelievable how they think it's working

The debates will be hilarious, get the popcorn ready! Especially if Biden challenges Trump's handling of covid yet when Trump stopped flights coming in Biden criticised him then he's going to get torn to shreds.

I think the prices should be the opposite way around & the only reason I can think that they aren't is because people are factoring in some sort of election fraud, which the price clearly suggests which side they fear the fraud will come from.

Personally, i think the Dems already believe they're going to lose and the whole mail in situation is a narrative being set for the next 4 years of claiming an illegitimate President is in the Whitehouse.

Americans imo are right now in a fight against what they believe to be a communist takeover... & if as many people rush to vote for Trump as fast as they were to clear the countries shelves of guns & ammo then it'll be a landslide.

There is also the people that considered themselves to be moderate Left or Left to Centre, it seems that the Left have gone so far to the Left that these people have either now been labelled as Right wing or have now identified themselves as Right & we are seeing it through things like the #WalkAway movement & political news podcasts. Does that put an end to what was Swing States, I dont know?

This is what's sending more and more votes to Trump.

The political left on both sides of the Atlantic are absolute nutters

That is the disintegration of civil society. But I guess Marxists want to bring on the revolution. Crazy stuff.

Definitely potential for Trump's price to come in (thats where my position is weighted) but I dont think it will get to 1.01
Trump's price was always going to come back in, even an idiot like me could see that 3 weeks ago.

As I said earlier in the thread I suspect there'll be many twists and turns in the market between now and November but imo its just 'market noise' on a massive scale. Nobody is going to know anything until election night and maybe not until weeks after that. I wouldn't be surprised if the book reverses and you see Biden heading for 3 before coming back in as I think the polls will narrow even more in the weeks ahead. Trump will probably be odds on come election day but I still think Biden will win the election.

Have to admit that this is becoming my favourite thread, even though I disagree with most of whats written on it its amazing to get an insight into the people behind the avatar.

A quality that is pretty much lost, being able to enjoy a topic where there is difference of opinion, without rage taking over.

Biden reversal which isn't surprising, hoping to get another lay matched at 1.75

And agree with the previous comments, nice to have a respectful discussion about something that most people find so divisive.
