Been testing a bot strategy for a week now.

It’s performing incredibly poorly, especially during certain parts of the day, but am quite happy because it has the potential of being flipped and become a cracking “opposite” strategy.

Question to pros: do you have profitable strategies that you exclusively run during certain days of the week / parts of the day?

A 9-tick move 7.6>9.4 sent this on its way.

Orly?

It couldn't have just been the move from 7.6 - 9.4, because according to my spreadsheet it aint an edge - laying after 7.6>9.4 comes out as 0.0% RoI (-£10.23) (131 trade sample)

We need some more info Derek :)

I was talking about the graph, not the reasons for the continued drift. Furthermore, not everybody trading on Betfair has access to your spreadsheet, they may have their own spreadsheet, or even trade without a spreadsheet!

You're over analysing again Simon. :)

I noticed at the precise time of the move (17:04:40), nothing else had moved significantly so it could well be something happening on the racecourse.

More like under analysing :D

Musta misread your post. I assumed you meant 7.6->9.4 (.."sent it on its way") i.e. was enough info to suggest a continued drift.
