Australian racing
Looking forward to checking in from time to time on progress today and might augment the two G1s.
Will also check in for the banter - will Dewick have any chips left for the Rosehill G1 at 7:10 am London time? will some crazy bomber appear to annoy Naffman?
Also, I see a couple of G1s tonight in UK racing when I loaded that this morning. Hoping Guardian doesn't fatigue.

...or will the spoofer return to frustrate PDC, assuming he's trading tonight?gazuty wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 11:12 pmLooking forward to checking in from time to time on progress today and might augment the two G1s.

NSW G1s no longer have that excitement, they just eat my chips without making much more than the lesser grade races.
Do Aussies really tear up their ticket and chuck it in the bin, as the commentator often says?
In the UK it's tradition to screw it up (because it's quicker) and chuck it at the T.V. screen or anywhere except the bin, and let the poor staff pick them all up later.

I went to the track a few times as a youngster and there were people, known in Australia as "emus", who walked around picking up discarded tickets in case someone had thrown away a winning ticket. So, based on that anecdotal example, Aussies are more likely to litter than to tear it up.Derek27 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 4:11 amDo Aussies really tear up their ticket and chuck it in the bin, as the commentator often says?

There were also a few "urgers" at the track, people who stood in the queue behind a punter and whispered, "mate put $10 on the 5".
These days people just throw their remote at their flat screen tv.
