Happy New Year All!

Are today's meetings running as scheduled? It's just that the racecard looks a little congested with 3 meetings running within 10minutes of each other.

Only Cheltenham, Southwell and Tramore survive, so it's 20 minutes of chaos followed by time for a pint by the look of it.

It's a shame they don't get Chelts running five minutes later as those other two races are probably going to damage liquidity at Cheltenham.

Thanks BA. Sounds like it's going to be a bit of a rollercoaster today with the intensity followed by calm. And you're a better man than me thinking about pints after after last night.

They can't seem to get their act together at Tramore so that's killing Southwell. So it's Cheltenham or bust by the look of it!

Hmm, Cheltenham now doing a very detailed inspection, looks like the day could be a write off.

Bust is likely as I think the chase card (at least) will be lost

I think I might take the afternoon off and trade the darts this evening instead. Looks like there might a couple of tight, see-saw games today.

Cheltenham ON!

But I suspect lots of withdrawn runners.

Watching Channel4 and no news re race schedule for remainder of the card.

Anyone picked this up or is it flexible? If so in for a volatile day.

All races 30 minutes delayed.

13:40 will run at 14:10 etc.

13:40 is now a two runner race!!!

You were right about the withdrawals. The 13:40 is literally a two horse race now!

hehe, I'm too hung over to be dealing with all this. My head can't cope, so I think I'll take the rest of the day off. Good luck to all who are carrying on and a Happy New Year :).

btw - Would it have made sense to use the delay to lag Cheltenham a further 5 mins behind Southwell?

Know it is not in the right section but a good feature to add would be the ability to change the race times in Guardian so we keep the trading in synq.

With a day like today then not too bad to manage as only two UK meetings, but would be needed for the days with 3 or more meetings.
