Here is something interesting from Betfair, you have just been given a huge steer on a key aspects to upcoming markets.
Accas and Hedging
We’re expecting our Paddy Power Betfair traders to hedge liabilities from the online Sportsbooks and retail estate into the Exchange during the festival. This will be in the form of a series of accumulators for that day’s favourites. Last year we tweeted about the accas to drum up interest to complement our own hedging on the Mullins troupe which helped to match almost £400k.

The days, runners and stakes to be hedged will all be dependent on incoming sportsbook business however we anticipate that we’ll be active in the following combinations: -

Day 3: Yorkhill, Unowhatimeanharry, Lets Dance, Un De Sceaux (trebles and four-folds)
Day 4: Defi Du Seuil, Death Duty, Cue Card, On The Fringe (trebles and four-folds, repeated with Djakadam instead of Cue Card)

Cant believe their announcing possible accas that cud be hedged into the exchange if they start to roll up but gives a very big clue as mentioned above. Anyway gud look to all next week :P

Anyone who is new spend the week match betting to build up your bank, it's easy money and you will make far more than trying to learn to trade these types of markets.

I want them all to win. Nice trade potential.

It will be interesting to see how Tuesday trades this year as it was the best day for me last year and Wednesday was the worse of the 4.

Accas and Hedging etc
Is this information generally available (if so where?) or is it 'insider' knowledge they let you and a few others know directly?

Not generally publically available apart from here :o

It was mailed to VIP customers last night. Felt I should share it.

Thanks for sharing, im sure everyone appreciates the info.

Cant say i feel very comfortable about VIP customers having their cards marked by Betfair though. Smaller players are playing with one hand tied behind their back as it is, doesnt seem very 'fair' to me.

Which is why I shared, but this is the first time I have seen anything like this.

It's common sense right if Betfair want to hedge there accas. Letting VIPs know who probably pay premium charge is pretty smart because there make back their hedge in commission.

Is a cheap shot from betfair though.

Does seem odd announcing their intentions beforehand, as we all know what will happen if the first few go in. Everyone will jump on and the price will collapse before the opening show is even through. Cant help their hedging?

Though to be honest ive never really understood the mathematics of hedging accumulator bets into the exchange.

Be interesting to see what happens now.
