1000 Winner Conquest
Not the 1000/1 winner you wanted but another debut winner for Johnny Portman in the 18.15 at Wolverhampton in UNVEILLING( traded around 18.00 before the off ) beating his better fancied stable companionHalliday wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2017 6:20 pmBack in March 2017 in a thread about systems I saidSeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2017 11:00 pmAfter acheiving more then at times I thought was possible with trading I now and have been for some time been desperate to back a horse priced 1000 and win.
From betting I have had a 66/1 winner and an 80/1 second over the years but I have never managed to have a 100/1 winner. In fact probably only ever backed a couple priced that high.
Hence why ive never hit it lol.
However I am really eager to break the duck and eventually back a 100/1 winner with the bookies and a 1000 pre race and inplay.
Now I know this sounds crazy because I know how uncommon a 1000 winner is at pre race odds however I want to acheive it.
Obviously I could just back all at 1000 etc and just sit and wait until eventually one wins. Thats not really my aim as that is pointless.
I am looking to work on a methodical approach... even if the result doesnt turn out profitable but has reasons behind acheiving it.
So even if over 3 years i bet 3k and won 2k back using only certain runners to a selected criteria id be happy. Obviously a profitable system is ideal but i know is not realistic.
Looking for any stories or any advice... simply because of how little these things do happen. For example theres probably 10 horses everyday priced over 100/1 but we know 100/1 shots come about every few months. So i am looking for something just to acheive backing one but not betting them all. Something with some logic.
Welcome ideas.

Depending on what criteria you use . E.g. If you backed just 2/3 yo starting at odds of 66/1 or more that would have produce two winners since 2015 at odds of 66/1 and 100/1 but he had none in 2013/14
He's just a trainer whose stats I analyse . So who knows SHR you might do a lot worse than to back certain of his horses to get that that huge priced winner !!

Great call mate. I had a little glance at that race earlier but forgot about your post. Its amazing how a name of trainer can effect a horse being in the top 3 of the betting or just double digits.Halliday wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 6:26 pmNot the 1000/1 winner you wanted but another debut winner for Johnny Portman in the 18.15 at Wolverhampton in UNVEILLING( traded around 18.00 before the off ) beating his better fancied stable companionHalliday wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2017 6:20 pmBack in March 2017 in a thread about systems I saidSeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2017 11:00 pmAfter acheiving more then at times I thought was possible with trading I now and have been for some time been desperate to back a horse priced 1000 and win.

Used to be on Gubbage. http://www.gubbage.com/1-01-losers
Looks like site has been cut back. 1.01 stats no longer being updated.
On 100/1 - I've had a few, but then again too few to mention.

is this clown for real , why do you guys regular to the forum let this Walter Mitty continue to post here with this sort of shite . He has previous on various horseracing forums , especially in matters of pace and times, which he quite plainly cannot grasp. 'Apparently' he won 30 grand on a big treble with Ladbrokes quite recently and was flashing a screenshot on another forum - strange he has not mentioned it here yet. Worked for The Baldings , Professional Gambler , Sued the Bookies , Pace Formula Maestro , Bodybuilder , Actor , the list goes on and on - i think now he is saying "somewhere" he is quite a decent long distance runner as well but i have his latest identity figured out on that forum and will expose him soon. His "Trading Diary" thread is comedy gold.So even if over 3 years i bet 3k and won 2k back using only certain runners to a selected criteria id be happy.

Having a bad xmas mate. If you dont like it dont write.
For what it matters. I was only a member on two forums. This place, and betting forum. Lets make a point. Never claimed to be a body builder. I work out everyday because it keeps me fit and focused. You know what I gamble and trade for a living everyday. When you do this practically 24/7 it does get a bit lonely, none of my friends understand or are interested. I right on this forum because it is one of my passions and it makes me feel better about myself.
Relation to this thread, if you even had a brain cell you would understand that the purpose is to acheive picking and backing a 1000 winner with a good theory behind it. It has nothing to do with making money. I have never backed a 1000 winner and not many have.
Relation to other things, what does it really matter regards to other forum I was expressing imo some very thoughtful and clever ideas to racing yet there are some people including yourself who are just complete arseholes. Frakly you should be gratefull I am responding because I am not trading today.
Whether I am respected on this forum or not, I contribute far more then causing uncessary arguments with people like you. Yes, I am an arse hole and I do speak my mind most of the time.
Stop being a sado and trying to link other people to me, nobody cares. Were all here to learn, chat and make money no one gives a rat ass whether I am a phscyo or a troll.
Grow up and move on. Your not getting another response from me. Have a problem inbox me.

It was the c - word that done it the last time Scott - no need for it - you were took to task for talking verbal diarrhoea of the highest order in matters of pace and time in relation to horse racing , then after turning the air blue , scanned up some doctored screen shots of a 30 grand treble from Ladbrokes , as if that proved anything , whist parting with an AW "Tip" the next day that was soundly trounced around 7-4. As in your 'Trading Diary' thread , you have been found out and it is only right i inform the masses here of your completely fabricated fairytales and to take each and every word with a large pinch of Andrews Liver Salts.
But anybody that is prepared to drop a grand for an ego boost and bragging rights to a winner in a certain odds bracket knows their stuff eh!!!bobs71 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2017 1:14 pmXmas means feck all to me Scott , my ancestors gave up on that idea when we realised how thumbs work.SeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2017 12:13 pmbobs71 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2017 9:05 am

What's your motivation for wanting to bring people down bobs?

I cant say weve all been their but I can only assume his gambling or trading has gone tits up and has taken it out on me.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2017 4:00 pmWhat's your motivation for wanting to bring people down bobs?
Ive been their years ago, would just lash out and that was because I couldnt trade or manage myself. If thats the case then I understand.
The simple fact is I dont like bullys and i didnt like the behavour towards me on another site so I called them a bunch of C's. Thats it, they deserved it.
I still think their a bunch of C's.
Listen pal, Sometimes its very hard to put your point accross via text, sometimes it frustrates the hell out of you and on that occasion I did the same but trying to attack someone is quite sour if you ask me. You keep mentioning bring me down... for what. Because you assume I doctored some document. I used to post p/ls daily here but I havent done it for a very long time simply because people dont give a shit.
I posted a genuine document because I was being ridiculed when I know for a fact that my racing knowledge is at an extensive level. Again I would post my theorys and was told I was copying other peoples, when again they were wrong, possibly I created my own theory yet someone had already done.
Look how many people are posting here to back me or back you up. Nobody gives a toss. Its a forum, we use it like so, what are you planning or trying to acheive? Get them to block me?
I regulalry post winners on this forum, I answer un answered threads, I go out of my way to offer trading advice and 99% of the time I indulge in trading discussions.
I celebrate xmas and suspect alot of others do too. I am not wasting another minute on you. If you want to discuss an issue pm me.

To put things in perspective , Walter / Scott / Tristan / Whoever came onto a few threads on the UK Betting Forum and was welcomed at first. But when he started the "expert" tone on speed ratings / pace handicapping and putting up documents which have quite frankly been in circulation for over 30 years in pace handicapping and claiming ownership , he was in jest , put in his place. He proceeded to call a moderator a king canute , flashed up a doctored screenshot of a 30k Ladbrokes treble (which he claimed to be from a few days before) and his parting shot was an All Weather Tip which at 7-4 ran badly the next day. Pretty similar to his whole charade on his "Trading Diary" here where i see a lot of good advice was given to him.
The fact is that i see people here who obviously don't have the horse racing knowledge and maybe come from a trading background , are listening to him and worse actually believing his claims etc.
My intention is not to bring him down Shaun , read between the lines and he is quite capable of doing that himself , my intention is to let people know who might be unaware , that he is a complete and utter bullshitter with a very rudimentary knowledge of betting on horse racing trying to pass himself off as some kind of expert.
He clearly missed his calling as he would have made a flipping brilliant politician.

Because its Xmas , and i'm feeling generous consider this a gift to the forum.
I'm surprised he has not been called out already on here.
Willing to lose a grand just for the sake of backing a 100-1 shot was the final straw.
I had to.
Just had to.
Does a strategy like that benefit the forum?
