Just have to hope you have the funds and exposure limits in place to close these 'bets' now, seahorse.
Well this is the problem I am facing. If First Flow wins, it could f up my Cheltenham. The ideal situation is he doesn't win.... otherwise my Cheltenham bank is halved.

Getting a 10k payout from the bookies will take a few days at best.

Looks like the bookies are going to go 8s now.

Make sure you check your exposure limit on Betfair now to ensure it's high enough, it's usually only around £5K by default and customer services are clueless when it comes to getting it raised. I've known quite a few people lose out because they haven't had the exposure level needed to close the bet when the time comes.

Im happy with that Min is the winner regardless, IMO always has been. My bets for this week are looking pretty damn good right now.

Arkle- Saint Calvados 7/2
RSA- Monalee 7/2
QCC- Min 7/2
Stayers- Supasundae 9/2
GC- Might Bite 7/2

Happy days, wont trade another day this year if they all win

Peter, have you had anything similar to last year's Accas & Hedging message from BF ?

Has anyone had any success trading the Cheltenham place markets?

I've always found liquidity a problem with place markets but Cheltenham sounds more appealing.

I was thinking about that not so long ago, but have never touched the place markets on any trading... will be interested in hearing from someone who has :?:

I know I did well many years ago but that was small stakes so it will be a completely different kettle of fish this time.

Can you actually believe they get paid for this?

Advising 9 horses from a possible 20.

8 horse in the supreme are 66/1 and over all the way to 250/1, so technically he's given 9 possible winners from 12 runners. He gets paid to do this!!! :D :D

Edit: 10 horses!!!

He advised one, Getabird (what I need to do as it happens) - that's why it's in capital letters.

When a racing journalist has to preview a race it's not really a tip, he's just saying what he thinks the best bet in the race is if you are betting on it.

I managed an early £500 scalp on Getabird - it took about two hours for the money to get through the queue.
