After the lessons learnt at Cheltenham what should we be doing at Aintree. I noticed if you laid at SP at Chelts you nearly always got a better price that the last traded price. So I messed around with backing, offsetting and using take SP seemed to work but was a bit one-dimensional and slightly hairy going in running but it seems a good tactic.

Hi Rubik,

I can't say I've used that technique? I usually use connection mode 9 so I don't have the option of taking sp. I might try it though for small stakes?!

Sounds like a plan to me. I'll be giving it a go since these markets don't move around enough to trade on swings.

It's been a while since I used connection mode 9. I'm using 13 at the moment which gives me the API goodies such as TAKE SP. Performance has been solid for months now.

I might give 13 a go. I allways seem to get a better connection on 9 for some reason though? Maybe now the connection problem have been sorted it might be no different to 9?
