Is it just me or is anyone else finding it harder then usual to make good trades today, some really big orders everywhere today?

There are a few spoofers around today but they usually cancel there orders before they're matched.

Cheers Derek,
Have read up on some posts here about spoofers but this is the first experience of them. In your experience do days like today and yesterday happen often and is it long before things are back to normal?

To be honest I never really noticed anything particularly out of the ordinary today, but the volatility and fill rates always vary day-to-day.

Yes, there has been some crazy money around and I think for those who struggle, its really about learning the skill to manage your risk.
Use days like this to grow as a trader, I always try to benefit from days like today. I don't know how much but I know I lost a bit of money today, a year ago would have been x3 the amount.

I read some posts and it seems like most of the others found today different even Peter at one of the meeting. Hopefully tomorrow will go better! Will probably watch the first few markets tomorrow and see how things are going first. Anyone have any idea where the stupid money was coming from in the evening markets?

It's not necessarily 'stupid' money. I reckon the spoofer that was messing around at Kempton will have made money because he did successfully move the price up and down. Having said that, I've made more money at Tampa Bay Downs in the US than Kempton, which says a lot about how difficult I've found Kempton.

I'm just guessing here, I'm no expert at reading markets. That small drift to 6.6 after it was trading between 6 and 6.2 for a while, looked like a spoofer pushing up the price and then cancelling his orders, but I'm just wondering if he had the bulk of orders between 5.5 and 6.0 - I couldn't see if the bets were matched or cancelled.

I don't think so Derik.

I'm not going to be the grammar police, puts too much pressure on getting my own correct and I don't want to be guilty of cluttering up threads any more than I already do. :)
