Roughly a million was matched on the first at the Cheltenham Festival at this time of night, only £44k for the first at Aintree. Might be easier to get a bit of scalping done and secure profits for the competition.

There's nothing more frustrating than having a lay bet at the front of the queue when everybody's gone to bed. I know it's two in the morning but it's the first day of a big meeting, you'd think a few quid at least would find it's way to these markets.

Aintree will trade very differently from Cheltenham, won't be anywhere near as much money comes for each market
