Some bizarre moves in the Ascot markets, especially given the size of the markets. Some of the moves wouldn't be out of place at Wolvs on a wet wednesday in the winter
glad you’ve said that, I’m sure I’ve heard somewhere that on the big meetings & especially on a Saturday that when a move unfolds it’s a sign of a solid move, may have dreamt it though

Could of been worse I imagine a few may have been caught in the last seconds on Harry Angel

Lots of back money from Dreamfield here especially after Harry Angel's defeat

Sad to see a former Golden Jubilee winner gelded and running in the Wokingham.

That drift on Thomas Hobson in the last just about summed up this festival - hard work and could take nothing for granted most the time!

It seemed to get more volatile as the week went on. Glad to see the back of it really. Back to the bread and butter :)

I’m guessed your referring to UNDRAFTED trained by Wesley Ward ... The horse was gelded soon after his first run in 2012,apart from his debut run has been a gelding all his racing life .

He has won a race every year since that debut win in 2012, and always has the winter off and comes back in April most years.Ward says he’s given the winter off and spends it in a 20 acre field/paddock .Hes one of his favourite horses,as can be seen from the quote below

“I love the horse. I’ve had him since he was a yearling but he’s a fickle bugger. He’s been in the same stall he’s been in for seven years now and he goes out in the same paddock he’s been out in for four or five hours a day, but when he ships out he can be a totally different horse – he just won’t eat at some places. England is not one of those places and he loves it there – he just eats and loves it all. He’s training awesome and it’s great to have Frankie [Dettori] riding him again.”

So not such a sad story, and by the sounds of it a much loved stable favourite

I wasn't so much referring to the fact he's a gelding (that's sad for any horse) but the fact that a group one winner is dropped to handicapping, notwithstanding the narrow gap between top sprint handicappers and group class.
