I think so - 14 unbeaten races - an incredible animal and a winner! And let us not forget Frankel's great trainer, Sir Henry Cecil.
Enjoy this wonderful YouTube video: it is quite something!

Was Frankel the Greatest Race Horse of All Time?
Best flat horse I've ever seen. I had a cup of tea and a chat with my old mate Lester Piggott and he reckons Sea Bird and Ribot were both better. I've seen video of Sea Birds Arc, haven't been able to find Ribot's though he's said to have won very easily. But I saw video of his 10-length odd King George victory - it was awesome!

Impossible to answer. In turf over 1 mile I would say yes but I think Secretariat was probably the most talented in terms of speed or ability.
I have never compared greats against greats
In many sports
Especially horse racing
The greats always win in their time and within many times
Thats my answer
Times meaning horse minutes and seconds that the jockey can make it do
Respect to all those involved historically personally in racing

It can take a decent sprinter to run a flat 5 furlongs in 60 seconds. Keeping up that average speed for the full 12 furlong Belmont Stakes (2m 24s) was quite incredible - I think his record still stands.SeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 3:15 pmImpossible to answer. We weren't around for the likes of Man O'War or Eclipse so its impossible to even have the evidence to discuss this IMO.
Eclipse was reported to have run 4 miles in 6 minutes, but how accurate were clocks in those days.SeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 4:54 pmWe weren't around for the likes of Man O'War or Eclipse so its impossible to even have the evidence to discuss this IMO.
Timeform makes seasonal adjustments to their ratings and makes comparisons of horses from different years against a statistical norm. If direct comparisons were made I'm sure it would be like comparing Roger Bannister, the first 4-minute miler to a modern-day athlete - it wouldn't be fair.
