Trialling it today and it certainly makes the ladders a bit more lively Would like to hear from anyone else who has made the switch, cheers

For example, I was switching between streaming/polling on the 16.25, flat at Epsom, to test the difference and the former made it almost untradable.

Screen refresh is faster, but the bet submission api is still the same so that's unaffected.arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 4:25 pmTrialling it today and it certainly makes the ladders a bit more lively Would like to hear from anyone else who has made the switch, cheers
With a normal human reaction time being iro 200ms I don't think it would make any practical difference.

Hmmm, is that true? The fact that the ladders are completely different when switching between the two suggests it makes a pretty significant difference to a manual trader.
For a pre-off trader seeing the markets refresh at a higher rate may give them a better feel for how/where prices are moving but no one can react as fast as 20ms to take advantage of something they see on a specific refresharbitrage16 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 4:44 pmHmmm, is that true? and that goes for in-play trading which your original question was about, when you see the market refresh and update the slowest part is your reaction time
That's cos I'm using streaming
