Hi, last year smarkets boasted about having the most traded volume last Cheltenham and I did not believe them, as they don't have an api for everyone and not as popular as Betfair but have low commission charges than Betfair by miles. Im interested to see what happens this year.Looking at the markets now it's close but will see the final numbers later on. As of 06:50am
Betfair 1330 Cheltenham = £1,553,569
Smarkets 1330 Cheltenham = £1,774,378
Early lead? Or clear favourite?

They tally it differently as do Betdaq, it'll be more like 10% of that it they're lucky.

Its not, they just calculate it a different way similar to how Betdaq do.

If you have a £100 bet matched at 11.0 on Betfair it shows as £200 traded (£100 back and £100 of lay money)

Whereas the same £100 matched at 11.0 on Betdaq and Smarkets shows as £1000 traded (£100 x the odds)
