That's crazy!

What do you do if you have taken a lay position when the market collapses like that?

I'm thinking given the abnormal size of the spike you would just hold your position and wait for it to come back.

Considering you would already be facing a large red I guess there wouldn't be much to lose anyway.

I don't think I would have reacted to well faced with that situation.

I think we all agree there's been a huge increase in people using bots over recent times, so I'm not 100% convinced that all these highlighted mishaps are fat fingers

I think some are bots that have gone wrong, or have been badly scripted

Yes I would agree - I would say the majority are bots tbh.
