Not so sure Southwell will be on going of this, access could be tricky:

Only Wolverhampton but liquidity is great. One race more than 2 mln pre-race. Last one easily over 1 mln.

KEMPTON's twilight fixture on Wednesday, scheduled to start at 3.50pm, has been brought forward, with a 2.00pm start now scheduled.

The eight race card will now finish at 5.30pm and could be the only card to take place on Wednesday, with Ayr, Catterick and Navan already abandoned and Plumpton also at risk.

Kempton races are running 5 mins late to dovetail with the South African racing.

Plenty of turnover at Kempton though, not often you would see £1.5million on a Wednesday afternoon race:

Double peak volume at a lot of these delayed meetings. Bots seem to trade to post and then you get another surge when the race is due off.

I think I'll make it a rule not to trade on days where there is only one meeting like today, I know there is plenty of money about but I find it impossible, Loss after loss today.

I hate one racecard days. I hang around to see if there are some clear cut opportunites but my tradng style needs more activity than you typically see at these meetings. The money drips in slowly, too slowly and erractically for me. The 16:30 was being heavily manipuated and the top two runners accounted for >£1.1m out of £1.5m traded, even after inplay.

Spent the afternoon working on some new stuff and testing it. I've pretty much written off the week in my mind. Not point in chasing it. I will take opportunites if I see them but that's all.

Between races I have done some useful hedging.

No not that sort of hedging.

I have about 50 beech plants/hedglings arriving on Friday and have been digging a trench.

Bleeding cold mind.

tomorrow: Wincanton,Market Rasen,Leicester - abandoned
on Friday: Exeter - abandoned
on Satruday: Wetherby - Abandoned

I tend not to trade days with 2 meetings even though there are 15min between them.

This could be the first week since I started on Betfair were I trade no horse races, not in anger at least.

If you still want to grab a few pennies, try the greyhounds. Lower volume but more frequent.
