Curiously that last comment echo's sentiment that it often occurs around this time of year?

Juts thought I'll link back to the today's racing thread so we have a record of it in the 'official' thread.

Ayr 4.35 next target I'm guessing, somehow managed to get some more investors and went for a 'walk'

Disappointed that by the time I realised what was going on he seemed to have given up. Hope they are back tomorrow. I think it's worth straightforwardly laying these horses at the off for 2 reasons. Firstly there has got to be a fair bit of value there but also if the horse wins presumably this guy is more likely to carry on so you are somewhat hedging against that happening by laying the horse.

Just completed my analysis from yesterday. Here are the best trades on the favourite in each race: -

13:30 - Back to open @ 2.32 to 1.98 for 18 ticks.
13:40 - Back to open @ 1.62 to 1.29 for 33 ticks.
13:50 - Back to open @ 1.96 to 1.79 for 17 ticks.
14:00 - Back to open @ 3.00 to 2.62 for 19 ticks.
14:10 - Back to open @ 3.10 to 2.40 for 32 ticks.
14:20 - Back to open @ 1.38 to 1.34 for 4 ticks.

14:30 - Lay to open @ 2.64 to 3.00 for 18 ticks.
14:45 - Back to open @ 1.55 to 1.52 for 3 ticks.
14:55 - Lay to open @ 4.30 to 4.70 for 4 ticks.
15:05 - Back to open @ 6.80 to 5.30 for 11 ticks.
15:20 - Lay to open @ 3.45 to 4.00 for 11 ticks.
15:30 - Lay to open @ 3.75 to 4.50 for 10 ticks.
15:40 - Back to open @ 3.60 to 3.50 for 2 ticks.
15:50 - Lay to open @ 3.00 to 3.50 for 10 ticks.
16:00 - Back to open @ 5.90 to 5.70 for 2 ticks.

16:15 - Back to open @ 2.86 to 2.16 for 35 ticks.

16:25 - Lay to open @ 3.90 to 4.40 for 6 ticks.

Amazing to see how the market got brave when the bomber had no more ammo then a little last ditch effort at the end.

Just backing the favourite and trading out at post time would have yielded a £100 profit to £100 stakes

When I joined the market which would have been 5-10 out. I do note the exact timings but thought they would be irrelevant.
