Cheers Tub,

I'm still not able to get as far as that,I have taken debug after clicking update & this is what it says;
End If

If ActiveCell = "" Then ActiveCell.Offset(1, 0).Select

Loop While Mid(ActiveCell.Value, 1, 3) <> "Use"

Exit Sub

errorhandler: MsgBox "There was a problem getting the odds, please try again"

End Sub

Any help appreciated
Ben

It works, but I have not all meetings (Wetherby and Naas missing today). Any problem with parsing data? Was layout changed or so?

Don't think Irish racing is on here but the UK racing should be.

How can I get first meeting data racing in this Excel spreadsheet without error? The data from http://horses.sportinglife.com/Meetings/ are inside spreadsheet 'RaceCard' (but cuted - first part named "Book" it is Wetherby without first race):
12:50 Book Raceday Hospitality On 01937 582035 Handicap Chase (4yo+, Class 4, 2m 6f 110y, 6 runners)
Book 13:20 Follow Wetherby Racecourse On Facebook 'national Hunt' Novices' Hurdle (4yo+, Class 4, 2m 110y, 18 runners) 13:20 4 18 2m 110y Hurdle
Book 13:50 Buy Tickets For Boxing Day at Wetherbyracing.co.uk Handicap Chase (4yo+, Class 3, 2m, 7 runners) 13:50 3 7 2m Chase
Book 14:25 Subscribe To Racing Uk Juvenile Maiden Hurdle (3yo, Class 5, 2m 110y, 9 runners) 14:25 5 9 2m 110y Hurdle
Book 15:00 Bramham Hall For Conferences & Banqueting Beginners' Chase (4yo+, Class 4, 3m 1f, 4 runners) 15:00 4 4 3m 1f Chase
Book 15:35 E.b.f./dbs Mares' Standard Open Nh Flat Race (qualifier) (4-6yo, Class 5, 2m 110y, 10 runners) 15:35 5 10 2m 110y NH Flat
image Chepstow Fast Cards
Chepstow 13:10 Betfair Racing Excellence Conditional Jockeys' Training Series Handicap Chase (4yo+, Class 5, 2m 3f 110y, 5 runners) 13:10 5 5 2m 3f 110y Chase
//
...
//
Naas 15:40 Become A Go Racing In Kildare Member (pro/am) Flat Race (5-7yo, 2m, 8 runners) 15:40 8

Parsing error maybe?

I know now where the problem is.

The spreadsheet get the data from http://horses.sportinglife.com/Meetings/.
It starts after 'image' (country flag). But unfortunately, sportinglife was adding another 'image' in the first row of data ('RACING UK'). And it is the reason of problem not getting first race meeting data.

Who can resolve it?

Thank you!

Seems to be ok from this end?

The spreadsheet seems to work fine today. I must admit I do not use it everyday so there may be updates required for subtle changes on the data sources but I can't see a problem with it at the moment.

Maybe you are looking at the sheet too early in the day? I imagine the student who puts that page together at the sporting life is occasionally late for work. I would give it until 10am at least.

Hi Ben - I've only just seen this post so apologies for not replying. I guess you have got it working now?

I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes but here is a version which gives the option of including the Irish meetings.

I haven't tested it with every Irish track but if there are any errors in this area in the future post them up and I'll see if I can find a solution.

Cheers
