What is the best way to put your money on betfair?
Scalping the market before the race or apply a so called ''long term profit systems '' ?
Scalping or systems ?
Research into what is meant by 'how long is a piece of string' revealed the following:

Hi Crossings
I think the string answer is
Q. How long is a piece of string
A. From the end to the middle twice!
Simples (squeak).
I would try both strategies and see what you feel works. However you may get different results depending on the day of the week and time of day.
If you look at a Betfair chart (the one with both graphs on) showing "time" of the market and % chance of winning you will see 9 to 10 hours worth of info and the last few red activity lines being the recent price movements. Just be aware of it. But you can do quite well with a trailing stop and place stop.
