It's a shame Betfair don't include a rough time indication into their charts.
Betfair chart / Betfair graph of the day
If you look at the big trade in the dip on the -9 min chart then compare that to the post chart you can see that the same trade has moved towards the left and now sits near the second axis mark at the bottom. Gives a bit of a clue but I imagine the scale means nothing more than a visual guide really.

Probably the wrong thread to discuss this but....Atho55 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 16, 2018 6:16 pmIf you look at the big trade in the dip on the -9 min chart then compare that to the post chart you can see that the same trade has moved towards the left and now sits near the second axis mark at the bottom. I’ve been puzzling over the Betfair charts. I have a ladder setting with an advanced long term line chart with a volume chart beneath to try to mimic the BF chart (inc colours). I have another ladder set up similarly with the BF charts so can flick between them. The charts are roughly similar (although separated out on my charts) but as it gets closer to post & the BF chart compresses the volumes seem to match less &
less and the “steepness” of moves suggest much greater price changes on the BF chart than my own (& less scary at a glance). I guess as mine move (losing some history) and don’t compress that stands to reason but the two charts do offer different “at a glance” views
I’ve wondered about sticking to my own charts but as most traders will use the BF one it seems sensible to view the market as others do......
....or is there an edge to be had by seeing it differently? Who knows

Not sure if others would agree but Newcastle Aw seems to have shown the most crazy moves I've come across.

Lovely one for the early backers this one....
I used to think the old addage of horse 'doubling' in price was a big move, but these days....?

Must be the season of mental drifters - to be fair I think that last one has nicked the title though!
