Very lucky here, just about to lay it when the price crashed. :D

Chelmsford doing their absolute best to clash with the St Leger.

There was a badly injured horse that needed the horse ambulance so not really much they could do about it this time.

I just struggle to understand why they don't put the races 15 mins before a big one.

It would make sense to try and create a gap before the big race like that but I would be surprised if Chelmsford being delayed had much of an impact on Doncaster at all?

ITV were only showing Doncaster so there was plenty of TV coverage available, I don't know what ATR were showing and I would think 99% of people were focused on the Classic at Donny than some rubbish at Chelmsford.

The problem today is that there is just too much racing on to have any gaps without adopting the Australian way of doing things and not restricting races to going off at either 5 or 10 minute intervals (not that UK courses care about their scheduled times).

Disappointed by the markets at the Curragh so far. I thought today's quality racing would have pepped up all the markets today but seems a bit of a non event. Shame some of yesterdays meetings weren't on today for a better spread.

Y, it's a really disappointing day. Worse than my lowest expectations, markets feel really odd. Just nothing happening in them.

Glad it isn't just me then thinking they were behaving odd.
