Off to a good start, as they say - early bird catches the worm. :D
Take it easy, lots of the week to go. I was up at the crack of dawn too, 11:30.
I've never understood what's so great about mornings. Where are the smug early risers when the real action happens?...tucked up in beddybyes.

I just popped out to get some cigarettes and the guy asked me if I got caught out in it this morning ?

Apparently it snowed this morning in Norwich.

BHA has announced an extra meeting at Towcester next week in the light of forecast bad weather.

Don't really understand the logic of it - the turf at Towcester is as prone to freezing as anywhere else!

It would be nice if they offered it to all customers!

I haven't been emailed or received a splash screen.

Thanks Simon, I've just opted in, but I wouldn't have known about it if you hadn't mentioned it. :)

I'll be interested to hear the outcome of the investigation but it can't be easy to investigate. Someone obviously wanted to lay it big time but a lot of the lays could just be traders exiting their trades and accelerating the move, plus traders jumping on the move.

If you've read my value section your see I have given a detailed analysis of 2.00 Southwell.

After sleeping on it I have slightly changed my view, but only on what the price should be not the order.

Be Mindful I have rated a 20% chance. However, this is the longest price I think it should be. I cannot for the sake of me make this price any bigger and there is a case to have it as a 7/2 chance.

I think the money is going to come for this horse!! Think this is a plan and whether your abettor or trader, the 8s available cannot stay there for long. Based on how the markets work, it could go out to 10s just from the noise but I seeing this steaming all day long!! I see it winning very well too.

No one I speak to likes the favourite in the 14:00 weird to see why it's stayed that price.

There may be an opportunity today with the five-minute delay at Southwell.

It was a 5/1 field race and I think because of so many unknowns people must have followed the favourite their. No horse should have been priced 5 or less. Didnt tip the winner but pretty chuffed that I had the 25/1 winner an 8/1 shot and 16/1 second an 11/2 shot.

I'm sure the usual culprits have done well but I really wish I hadn't bothered today
Not dreadful but an object lesson in why to be wary of days like this.

...even my little bit of automation seems to have been very charitable with my money today, thanks a bunch.
