Feels nice to have an early finish racing wise on a Saturday for once
i just looked at Sunday and Monday's afternoon cards:

Sunday - 12:20 start - 16:35 finish
Monday - 12:35 start - 16:15 finish (one card finishes at 15:50  )

Winter is upon us and getting out of picking the kids up is getting harder!

I always have mixed feeling about the early starts in Winter

On one hand, its good to get started earlier in the day (and then finish early) rather than trying to fill the gap till 2pm as you sometimes need to in summer months
On the other hand, sometimes it means there is not always time to get my morning stuff done and get fully setup (esp on busy days like a Friday and Saturday), also it forces you into having lunch either earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon

Is that the normal size of bets on there? Or can you nibble away at bets people put up for offer.

I only deposited £200 to test the system, I've taken bets with liabilities over £100 but I'm sure there are bigger bets available. They get split amongst 'punters' depending on their maximum liability they set. You can take a smaller amount than on offer but you won't get a second bite of the cherry and it may affect you rank in the queue for further bets.

By the way, someone wanted to get on Picketts Charge at 9.0 EW but I didn't take it as I couldn't even trade it to break even.

Thanks, so the bets are sent to you fully formed with your set liability, not like betfair where you'd take a bite out of a pool? Any idea how they treat non runners with regard to number of places and rule 4? And finally, possibly finally, do they do football or mainly horses?

I've yet to encounter a non-runner but I presume the terms will be standard bookie rules. I might be in breach of rules if I post a screenshot of the 'pro' list, but nearly all of them cover horse racing, many cover football, and some for rugby, golf and tennis. It displays their ROI% but that's not very relevant as I reckon some of them are arbers.

Newmarket - normal service has resumed. Not even at the start for the off time and getting later by each passing race!

No excuse other than appalling management/time keeping by the staff. They have proved in the past they can do it with huge fields so no excuse at all.
