The bets are hitting all runners at the same time and taking out a lot of prices though sometimes the market is absorbing them within a few ticks.

I am surprised it is not being discussed.
I mentioned it in my 5:20pm post, imo it's just someone trying to push prices around and failing in most cases (must be losing money)

+ it's not hitting all runners at once... that's just the crossmatching algorithm(s) reacting to the initial bet

This was the best part of the day: -

think Jose should offload de Gea to that mob Real Madrid for £90m & sign Hayley Turner up instead, if she can stop a horse then she can stop anything, the way she got down there that quick was amazing
It was Hayley Moore not Turner, she is Ryan Moore's sister and also a presenter in a different class to Hayley Turner, she actually talks knowledgeably and adds something of value.

Sometimes they do hit the market on more than one horse as sometimes you may see more than one horse backed,if it was just one horse all the others would be the opposite. I may not fully understand the crossmatching impact though and I might be wrong.

Anyone here trade the AvB horse racing markets?

I used to rinse the bookies back in the day with match bets which is basically the same. Only problem was they would only lay for a small stake and I guess betfair are just doing the same on the exchange. Never thought about trading it. Whats the volume & liquidity like?

Before you all go, have an interest in

Serpico - Huntingdon 8.10.

I am on at 6/1 .. it could start any price.

It’s disappointed before, so no promises.

19:10 Huntingdon off 47 minutes late - first hurdle omitted due to low sun.

Thats totally different. AvB markets generally have very little liquidity.

Not surprisingly the last at Huntingdon has been abandoned.
