Some people match small bets at big odds as soon as the markets open so it skews the graphs. Been going on for years on all markets, surprised Betfair haven't stepped in to put a stop to it the same as they do with the penny bets.
Are you certain its not the crossmatching that is responsible for most of it?spreadbetting wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 5:51 pmSome people match small bets at big odds as soon as the markets open so it skews the graphs. Guess it's got to be a possibility but cross matching isn't usually turned on for racing until close to the off
I can't see how cross-matching would account for a few pence lay on the fav at 100 when money is likely available at better odds.Jukebox wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 5:59 pmAre you certain its not the crossmatching that is responsible for most of it?spreadbetting wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 5:51 pmSome people match small bets at big odds as soon as the markets open so it skews the graphs.
