Today's Horse Racing
It would make sense to try and create a gap before the big race like that but I would be surprised if Chelmsford being delayed had much of an impact on Doncaster at all?
ITV were only showing Doncaster so there was plenty of TV coverage available, I don't know what ATR were showing and I would think 99% of people were focused on the Classic at Donny than some rubbish at Chelmsford.
The problem today is that there is just too much racing on to have any gaps without adopting the Australian way of doing things and not restricting races to going off at either 5 or 10 minute intervals (not that UK courses care about their scheduled times).
I know what you are saying but from my point of view the Curragh is the main trading markets today and the other two courses are just 'filler' between the Curragh so I call them supporting cards even though they are in different countries.
What is the technical definition of 'supporting card' as I didn't know there was one?
