it seems that someone knows well ahead of betfair about photofinish results
I take it you have sky sports racing?

Often the betting on the photo changes quite quickly when the slow motion replay goes up. In the last race at Doncaster I think the 2nd horse was fav in the photo until they showed the super slow mo which seemed to suggest that Dettori had actually hung on.

5 mins out for the 6.15 Musselburgh the graphs are unusually flat for a low grade handicap.

these days you don't see many trading photofinishes. As soon as market re-opens the winner go straight to 1.01 with big lumps of money. I think the market reopening should be reconsidered by betfair.

in 14:40 at Chester https://youtu.be/bpc5Eokg9ww?t=120 Restorer started photo finish at 11 and sat there for quite a while. Then in a split o a second went to 1.01 with a 20k bet

Monday 15:45 Thirsk: Lady G traded around £500k at 1.03 pre-off. Surely a value lay bet at that price?

Why? The ISP was 1/28 which equates to 1.0357, so there's barely anything in it.

Seems bad value to rely on flesh and blood to run that race 33 times until it loses (maybe 30 after commission)? Or will I get a comparison of me running against Usain Bolt 30 times? 🤣

Or maybe if I stop calling some markets Shirley and telling them the price is value turn around when I don't know what I'm talking about, I would improve my order flow trading without holding onto losses as much 😀

It's probably bad value but I doubt it's terrific lay value either.
