I don't understand why RTV paid for Irish racing but then don't even show entire races and make no reference to it at all, not even the result after the race.

Ascot and Haydock have been pretty good today. Got stung at Wincanton, the only other market I traded.

Y, really enjoyed this afternoon, and I've just noticed I didn't green on that 'Road to Rome' but it won so all counted towards a v.good afternoon

Was very ugly scenes, especially the way that poor mother and baby got swept up in it

Awful to see, in the news more and more often now and can happen anywhere, remember Royal Ascot last year!

Shocking, but it does remind you that these incidents are extremely rare on racecourses.

Absolute arseholes those scrapping on courses with kids around, used to take my young daughter regularly on Saturday racing never missed many Uttoxeter meetings, only seen mither once some Stoke fans playing up in the ring and throwing beer, not good when have a pushchair etc but very rare. That was 15 odd years ago have things changed now? You've only got to see the winners enclosures after the race to see only a handful bother looking here even with bumper crowds, the courses want you in the bars buying rip off booze racing is just a sideshow. Still entertainment for kids center of course some meetings and Sunday's always seen as a good family day out in nice weather.
