Same F****** Bull s*** again. Traders wont pay out my bet. Only prepared to pay me upto £10 each way at SP.
I know I am limited to £10 max.. £10 e/w can I get £50 each way on a 33/1 shot if not Ill try BetFred over the road. "I'll find out for you"
Called whoever they needed too and said I can have £50 each way at SP only...
Now wont pay my bet. Only £10 each way plus £80. Bastards. Another court claim being made this afternoon. Livid.

If they won't honour a timestamped betting slip in your hand then the whole idea of a contract with the bookie becomes meaningless. So sorry for you but hopefully they'll settle up after a short letter from your solicitor.
Surely if you have handed over the stake and have the betslip, they don't have a leg to stand on.SeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2018 4:01 pmSame F****** Bull s*** again. Traders wont pay out my bet. Only prepared to pay me upto £10 each way at SP.

Im used to it buddy. Not the first time this has happened. They have only ever once responded to a court claim and that was over a promotional "best odds" which in fairness they had half a chance of winning. They just think I am going to accept the few hundred quid instead.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2018 4:12 pmIf they won't honour a timestamped betting slip in your hand then the whole idea of a contract with the bookie becomes meaningless. Look i know I am "limited", but they took the bet knowing they can do this if it wins.
Third claim in 6 months. The last claim was for £45 with Coral. Women on till settled my multiple bet wrong and refused to pay me when I proved how the bet should have been settled.
The sooner the FOBT's are limited the better. Maybe they might start taking bets.
I will 10000% get paid for this, but it might take a few months. still have county court balifs chasing ladbrokes for pennies from 2016.

You know what pisses me off the most. I have hardly won anything from that particular shop address. All because I dont sit in their playing the machines or virtual racing they take note of the occasional winner.
I had a problem with one of the big bookies not refunding my stake on a non starter, but when I took it up with IBAS they reconsidered and paid up. Surely you've got a solid case to refer the matter to IBAS if they refuse to honour your bet ?SeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2018 4:01 pmSame F****** Bull s*** again. Traders wont pay out my bet. If I was a bookie I wouldn't let you even come in the shop.SeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2018 4:19 pmThe sooner the FOBT's are limited the better. Maybe they might start taking bets.

Prooblem with IBAS is they take forevever to resolve issues. I used them once and it took i think about 6 months for an outcome. Just easier to send a letter before action to head office then file a claim. But they have never ever responded to a Letter before action so i just us .gov online and make the claim.Derek27 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2018 5:12 pmI had a problem with one of the big bookies not refunding my stake on a non starter, but when I took it up with IBAS they reconsidered and paid up.
