Bizarre market for the two runner at Newmarket, it was all over the place late on and SP'd at 96%, none of it made any sense whatsoever.

I bypassed that one - that's the beauty of having a race off every five minutes.

Just looked at the weather forecast; 30 degrees on Monday!

If there's ever a day to drag yourself away from your trading desk and spend the afternoon drinking beer and being roasted alive in a pub garden, this could be the day. :D

guys sorry i didnt mean to give him attention. I personally am still learning pre race trading so when someone say its dying it becomes my concern!
Don't worry about it, everyone has their own view of the decline of liquidity on the exchange but the reality is only Betfair know for sure. I've thought liquidity's been dropping more for the in-running markets especially place markets which are becoming almost pointless these days. The trouble is X-matching takes such a big portion of the pot at source it never actually reaches the exchange just gets matched on the server as it enters. I'd imagine it gets added to the matched volumes but looking at market activity it does seem to appear liquidity is dropping both pre off and IR.
ive been thinking about what u said for days. what do you mean by x matching takes money of the pot at source and never reaches exchanges?

Looks like it will be another scorcher next week, the garden is on its last legs.

It is amazing that the only thriving green spots on my trading are the things that aren't money.
