That's very true. I made a loss in February last year and I'm struggling this year and doing better down-under. But I'm still gonna try and master these wacky markets to smaller stakes.Dallas wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2018 4:18 pmFrom Feb last year

Today's Horse Racing
If anyone's bothered by the state of UK markets at the moment, my advice is to take a day off and spend a morning at one of the big Australian meetings with a six-pack of lager (or more if required), and enjoy.dragontrades wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2018 2:15 pmbit worried that erratic moves are becoming more frequent even on decent races.
I hope I'm not speaking too soon but I made up my UK losses on the first at Caulfield, and that's just a handicap, with eight group races to follow.

You're either suggesting drinking heavily while trading in the morning, or taking a very long road trip. Neither appeals.

I've tried it and did OK. Decided in the end that burning the candle both ends wasn't a good idea, for me anyway.

3.30 Lingfield.
Fearsome 5.7 & Native Fighter 7.4.
Favourite IMO is 9/1 shot.

I think Native Figher has a great chance to .. Stable in form , was from a top stable in Germany and won two small races there , below is what the trainer has to say about him. Always like to watch the enigmatic Top Beak who is in this race to .. will he ever win again !!SeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2018 12:34 pm3.30 Lingfield.

"Native Fighter could also take his chance at Lingfield on Saturday. He may run in the 15.30 Betway Casino Handicap, over 1m 4f. This Lawman colt had his first start for the yard in January and ran with plenty of credit. Oisin Murphy gave him a positive ride, settling him just in behind the early leaders. He settled well and looked professional throughout. He got his neck in front inside the final furlong and it looked as though he was going to win but there were some fast finishing horse on his outside and he ended up finishing third. It was good to see a performance like that as we are still finding our way with him. He remains on the same mark so we are hoping he can run with credit once again"

One of my favourites here - small yard - does well with others cast offs , especially on the 4th and 5th run back for him Another who is dynamite on the second run
